China in the Balance
In the last couple years Luxury Brand have been setting up flagship stores in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong in order to expand its market and international presence. China economy is booming with its manufacturing demands, which has helped the Chinese come into a new wealth. With this new found wealth there has been an interest in Luxury brands, and the Chinese raising their international status.
Vogue China Editor-in-Chief Angelica Cheung has helped the magazine to become one of the biggest international editions. Her goal now is to highlight young Chinese designers and help them establish their brand.
